Reminder for 2019-20 payroll tax relief

Eligible employers with annual Victorian taxable wages up to $3 million can apply to have their payroll tax for the 2019-20 financial year waived.

If payroll tax has been paid for the 2019-20 financial year, the online refund application must also be completed.

Employers have to lodge their annual reconciliation via Payroll Tax Express for the 2019-20 financial year to apply for the waiver and, if applicable, the refund.

Applications and refund claims must be submitted by 30 April 2021.
