The SRO has released the latest quarterly data on the top 10 postcodes, based on volumes, for First Home Owner Grants (FHOG) paid in regional Victoria, metropolitan Melbourne, and Victoria overall.

This data covers the period from 1 October 2014 to 31 December 2014.

Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Truganina, and Wyndham (postcode 3029) – one of the most popular postcodes for the past financial year and for the first quarter of 2014-15 – continue to lead first-home ownership across the state, with 215 grants.

Similarly, the postcode of Cranbourne, Botanic Ridge, Cannons Creek, Devon Meadows and Skye (3977) comes in second with 169 grants, while Craigeburn, Donnybrook, Kalkallo, Mickleham and Roxburgh Park (3064) are in third spot with 138 grants.

Data is also available for various periods since the inception of the FHOG scheme in July 2000. The year-to-date data will continue to be updated on a quarterly basis.
