The SRO has released the latest quarterly data on the top 10 postcodes, based on volumes, for First Home Owner Grants (FHOG) paid in regional Victoria, metropolitan Melbourne, and Victoria overall. This data covers the period from 1 January 2015 to 31 March 2015.

The three most popular postcodes for the last financial year (2013-14) and for the first two quarters of 2014-15, continue to show the way in regard to first home ownership for the third quarter of the 2014-15 year, albeit in a different order.

Cranbourne, Botanic Ridge, Cannons Creek, Devon Meadows and Skye (postcode 3977) lead the way on 163 grants, then followed Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Truganina, and Wyndham (3029) on 142 grants, and then Craigeburn, Donnybrook, Kalkallo, Mickleham, and Roxburgh Park (3064) on 123 grants.

The data is also available for various periods since the inception of the FHOG scheme in July 2000. The year-to-date data will continue to be updated on a quarterly basis.
