Update: this event has been cancelled, however, you can learn about Victorian taxes and cross-border payroll tax issues in our online webinars.

Whether you are an employer, conveyancer, property investor or first home buyer, the State Revenue Office Victoria is visiting Wodonga to help you navigate state taxes and any benefits you can claim.

They will be at Wodonga TAFESPACE from 9am to 4.30pm on Tuesday 22 October 2019 to present a series of information sessions, and answer questions from anyone who wants to drop by.

The State Revenue Office worked with Business Wodonga and Victoria’s Cross Border Commissioner to prepare the sessions, which include those on payroll tax harmonisation and cross border issues.

The sessions cover information about:

  • The State Revenue Office — who we are and what we do
  • Payroll tax
    • Harmonisation and cross border issues
    • Engaging contractors
    • Grouping provisions
    • Registering for PTX Express
  • Investing in property
  • Buying your first home — grants, duties, exemptions and concessions
  • Duties Online, including a system demonstration and lodging complex transactions

Sessions are FREE but you must register via Eventbrite where you will also find more information about each session.

Apart from these specific sessions, State Revenue Office staff will be available in the foyer to answer questions from anyone who wants to drop-in between 9am and 4.30pm.
