Tax relief measures for bushfire affected communities

The Victorian Government has announced a range of tax relief measures for people affected by the Victorian bushfires. They include:

• Land tax relief for people whose properties have been affected by bushfires.
• Land transfer duty (stamp duty) relief for people who need to replace existing homes destroyed by bushfires.
• Motor vehicle duty relief for people who need to replace vehicles destroyed by bushfires.
