The State Taxes Consultative Council (STCC), established in 1992, facilitates communication and liaison between the State Revenue Office and peak professional bodies.

Membership comprises senior industry and professional body representatives and senior State Revenue Office personnel, with members contributing to State Revenue Office policies and procedures.

The STCC meets quarterly (15 March, 14 June, 6 September and 6 December in 2024), with the State Revenue Office providing updates on a variety of areas, including:

  • legislative and legal matters
  • key issues, such as implementing government initiatives or changing administrative practices
  • publications
  • customer education programs.
