All these vital services depend on the revenue collected by the State Revenue Office, or SRO.

Our job is to administer Victoria's taxation legislation.

We collect revenue, which allows the government to provide services to the people of our state.

We also administer several types of grants, waivers, exemptions and concessions, including programs to help people buy their own home.

For example, the First Home Owner Grant, and duty exemptions and concessions for first home buyers.

We aim to deliver quality revenue management services, which are fair, efficient and deliver benefits for all Victorians.

We are committed to giving you an excellent customer experience, making it as easy as possible for you to pay the right amount of tax at the right time, and access any grants, funds, concessions or exemptions you may be entitled to.
