Australian Government announces HomeBuilder Grant extension to 31 March 2021 with changes

On Sunday 29 November 2020, the Australian Government announced it was extending its HomeBuilder Grant program to 31 March 2021, with changes to the grant amount and some criteria to come into effect from 1 January 2021.

HomeBuilder provides eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home.
