You can request a free update of your land tax clearance certificate within 90 days of it being issued, as long as there is no change to the parties involved in the transaction.

2019 settlements or auctions

If you apply for a land tax clearance certificate for a property that will be settled or auctioned in 2019, the certificate will be issued after Wednesday 2 January 2019. This allows us to include any 2019 land tax liabilities.

If your settlement date is rescheduled from 2018 to 2019, you can request a certificate update with 2019 liabilities as long as there is no change to the parties involved in the transaction. To request an update for a rescheduled settlement, call us from 2 January 2019 on 13 21 61.
