Land tax instalment notices - August 2017

The SRO is preparing to recommence issuing land tax instalment notices to customers by 31 August 2017.

The issuing of notices was stopped following last month's error made by an external contracted printing company. The SRO immediately launched a review to ensure the error does not happen again.

As a result, instalment notices have been delayed, and our customers given two options:

• Pay their instalment using the details from their original land tax assessment notice as it outlines the amount due, due date and payment options for each instalment, or
• Wait to receive a new instalment notice 

Customers have not been disadvantaged by the delay.

Those who select the second option will have a revised due date, with the normal two weeks from the date of issue to make payment.
