Stamp duty refunds are now online

The SRO has enhanced its systems to now include online refunds of overpaid land transfer duty.

Please use a Duties Online registered organisation to lodge on your behalf. Alternatively, apply for a refund by registering with us.

Applications can no longer be lodged manually.

This exclusively online process delivers outstanding efficiencies for customers, including:

• Direct deposit into the liable party’s (the purchaser) bank account instead of a third party or cheque payment, and
• Online tracking of claims through Duties Online to give you instant updates
