Back to Work Scheme boosted to $3 million for Latrobe Valley

The funding cap for the Back to Work Scheme, which supports employers hiring and training unemployed people living in the Latrobe Valley and retrenched workers from the Hazelwood Power Station, has increased from $2 million to $3 million.
Employers have until 30 June 2018, unless the $3 million funding cap is reached sooner, to lodge claims for employing:
Unemployed people living in the Latrobe Valley ($5000 ex GST),
Retrenched workers from the Hazelwood Power Station ($5000 ex GST)
An additional amount of up to $4000 is available to employers providing accredited training to these eligible employees.
