Trading on

If you are an insolvency practitioner trading on a business, you are still required to continue fulfilling payroll tax lodgement obligations (provided that the entity is registered for payroll tax in Victoria).

In order to lodge your monthly/annual returns, you are required to create a new login using the current registration in PTX Express. Once you’ve setup your new login, you will able to self-manage the payroll tax registration going forward.

Please note the existing customer ID and WorkSafe ID are required to create a new login.

If you require assistance, please:

  • contact us on 13 21 61 between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday
  • choose option 5 to speak to the Payroll Tax team.

If you are an insolvency practitioner seeking to lodge and substantiate recovery of alleged unfair preference payments:

  • please go to the ‘Contact Us’ form
  • select the category ‘Insolvency’ and then the ‘Unfair preference’ subcategory
  • attach the relevant notice and press submit.

You will receive an email confirmation once your request is assigned to a member of our legal team.
