The annual review outlines our activities, strategies and performance for the year, including our financial statements and key statistics about the revenue we administer.
This year’s review covers how we:
- assessed $33.5 billion in revenue
- helped thousands of Victorians buy or build their own home by managing a range of grants, waivers, exemptions and concessions, including $825.6 million in land transfer duty savings for first home buyers
- implemented commercial and industrial property tax, short stay levy, vacant residential land tax changes and the temporary duty concession for off-the-plan property purchases
- delivered high-quality customer service, responding to 395,237 phone calls, managing 68,420 emails and earning a customer satisfaction level of 81%
- assessed $888.7 million from compliance activities, ensuring Victorians comply with their tax obligations
- provided expert advice to customers by delivering 1,530 private rulings and 310 education events.
