State Revenue Office 2024–25 Annual Review is now available

The annual review outlines our activities, strategies and performance for the year, including our financial statements and key statistics about the revenue we administer.

This year’s review covers how we:

• assessed $33.5 billion in revenue
• helped thousands of Victorians buy or build their own home by managing a range of grants, waivers, exemptions and concessions, including $825.6 million in land transfer duty savings for first home buyers
• implemented commercial and industrial property tax, short stay levy, vacant residential land tax changes and the temporary duty concession for off-the-plan property purchases
• delivered high-quality customer service, responding to 395,237 phone calls, managing 68,420 emails and earning a customer satisfaction level of 81%
• assessed $888.7 million from compliance activities, ensuring Victorians comply with their tax obligations
• provided expert advice to customers by delivering 1,530 private rulings and 310 education events.
