Complete your congestion levy annual return

How to review, complete and lodge your annual return.

Background information

All registered car park owners and operators must complete an annual return each year. We send a pre-populated annual return in November.

Use your annual return to:

  • declare the number of parking spaces you own or operate
  • claim any concessions or new exemptions
  • check any exemptions or changes to your details have been applied.

See information on available exemptions and concessions.

Step 1: Review your annual return

The annual return we send you will be pre-populated with your relevant details.

It is important to check the information is accurate. If any of your details are incorrect, you can make amendments in the form.

Refer to the explanatory notes for guidance.

If you did not receive an annual return, contact us.

Step 2: Complete your annual return

Use black or blue pen to complete the annual return we send you.

Even if your car park situation has not changed in the past year, we need you to confirm your total number of leviable parking spaces.

If you are claiming a concession or claiming a new exemption, attach the relevant completed form(s) to your annual return.

If you submitted a change of details, check it has been applied to your annual return.

Step 3: Lodge your return

You must lodge your completed annual return by 21 January each year by email or mail.
